The model GR00T has been designed to understand natural language text, speech, video and live demonstrations to emulate human movements. This will allow it to quickly learn coordination, dexterity and other skills in order to navigate, adapt and interact with the real world.


Researchers uncovered unfixable vulnerability in Apple chips affecting cryptographic security

The security vulnerability inside Apple M1, M2, and M3 processors steals cryptographic information from the CPU cache enabling an attacking program to build a cryptographic key from stolen data.

Android 15 Developer Preview 2 adds support for satellite messaging

Apps can detect when a device is not connected to a satellite, thus notifying users why full network services may be unavailable. Core messaging services like SMS/MMS and pre-installed RCS apps can also utilize satellite connections for sending and receiving messages.


EU will sign a contract with SpaceX to launch four Galileo navigation satellites in 2024

The security deal is due to be formally signed with the U.S. next week and the plan is to ship the Galileo satellites, each weighing roughly 700 kilograms, to the U.S. on March 27. The first launch of two satellites will take place in the second half of April.
