According to the The New York Times, OpenAI used its Whisper speech recognition tool to transcribe the YouTube videos, generating new conversational text. A security group called SOCRadar discovered a Microsoft server with internal files and passwords that was not password protected

The server found by SOCRadar was hosting the company’s internal data related to the Bing search engine. This included code and configuration files which contained passwords, keys and credentials used by Microsoft employees to access other internal databases.
