Google and Samsung announced a common file sharing system named Quick Share

The new Quick Share will replace Google’s Nearby Share, launched in 2020. The companies are also in talks with PC makers to expand Quick Share to Windows PCs as a pre-installed app. The option will roll out to current Nearby Share-enabled devices next month.
