A new security vulnerability can bypass the Windows Defender SmartScreen

This vulnerability can enable the Phemedrone Stealer malware to steal sensitive information like authentication codes, passwords, and other data from web browsers and messaging apps such as Discord, Telegram, and Stream. In addition it also gathers telemetry data, including hardware specs, geolocation data, and operating system information, and takes screenshots, sending all of this to the hackers via Telegram or to a remote command-and-control server.

Vodafone signed a 10-year partnership with Microsoft to improve its processes using AI and Cloud

Vodafone will invest $1.5 billion over the next decade in cloud and AI services developed with Microsoft. Microsoft will also integrate Copilot as well as Azure cloud services into Vodafone’s customer service “TOBi”.

Microsoft rebrands Bing Image Creator to “Image Creator from Designer”

The name change of Bing Image Creator seems to be just the latest example of Microsoft moving away from the Bing branding. Bing Chat was renamed to Copilot with Bing Chat late last year. Alongside that change, Bing Chat Enterprise became Copilot Pro.
