Meta will shut down CrowdTangle
CrowdTangle is used by researchers and journalists to monitor the spread of content on Facebook and Instagram, including conspiracy theories and fake news. CrowdTangle’s database currently includes over seven million Facebook pages, groups, and verified profiles. Meta has argued the tool was used to generate inaccurate and incomplete reports about Facebook.

A developer integrated GPT-2 into Microsoft Excel
Ishan Anand implemented GPT-2 into an XLSB Microsoft Excel binary file format, and it requires the latest version of Excel to run. It’s completely local and doesn’t do any API calls to cloud AI services. Users input words in some cells and see the predictive results displayed in different cells almost instantly.

LinkedIn plans to add games to its platform
The titles LinkedIn is working on so far include “Queens,” “Inference” and “Crossclimb”. There’s is no word yet on if LinkedIn plans to monetize these games.
