A Russian court fined Google $50.84 million for failing to delete so-called “fake” information
“Google was found guilty of committing administrative offense,” the ruling Judge from the Tagansky District Court in Moscow said. The fine was calculated as a share of Google’s annual turnover in Russia.

The next generation of Apple’s CarPlay interface will be launched in Porsche and Aston Martin cars
The interface was built on previous versions of CarPlay, but will notably connect with all displays in a vehicle instead of just the central infotainment screen. Although Apple’s next-generation CarPlay requires an iPhone to share app-related information, the system relies on its host vehicle to provide driving-specific data.

Apple reportedly plans to launch the mixed-reality headset Vision Pro in February
“The company sent an email to software developers encouraging them to ‘get ready’ for the Vision Pro by testing their apps with the latest tools and sending their software to Apple for feedback”, Bloomberg wrote. The $3,499 device is currently being assembled in China where production is said to be running at full speed and has for several weeks.
