Windows extracting text
Windows will add the option of extracting text from images stored on the smartphone

Users will be able to use Phone Link to copy text from the Android phone’s photos, and then use it in Windows. The feature is only available in Windows 11 preview builds right now, but it should be available in stable Windows 11 soon.

Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI is only a year old, but it has rapidly built its own large language model (LLM), Grok. The funding round, one of the biggest yet in the AI field, values the company at $18bn before taking into account the $6bn investment, Musk said on X.

WhatsApp added a ‘1-minute voice note’ for status updates

The voice note feature for the WhatsApp Status enables users to record themselves and upload the audio for 24 hours. The current limit for voice notes is a maximum of 30 seconds.

EU data protection board claims that ChatGPT still does not meet data accuracy standards

A task group on ChatGPT was established last year by the body that unifies national privacy watchdogs in Europe in response to concerns expressed by national regulators. Now, the group concluded that OpenAI’s efforts to produce less factually false output from its ChatGPT chatbot are not enough to ensure full compliance with European Union data rules.
