Google settled a $5 billion privacy lawsuit over tracking people using ‘incognito mode’
The class-action lawsuit filed in 2020 said Google misled users into believing that it wouldn’t track their internet activities while using incognito mode. The lawsuit’s plaintiffs presented internal emails that allegedly showed conversations between Google execs proving that the company monitored Incognito browser usage to sell ads and track web traffic.

WhatsApp backups will consume storage in Google Drive
The company has announced that the change will start rolling out for all Android users in the first half of 2024. Previously, WhatsApp backups on Google Drive were treated separately from a user’s general storage. With the 15GB limit in place, users who reach their quota will either need to delete old backups or upgrade to a Google One subscription to store their complete chat history.

Steam has officially ended support for Windows 7 and Windows 8
