A US court ordered NSO Group to hand over the source code of Pegasus spyware to WhatsApp
Meta filed the lawsuit in October 2019 against the Israeli cybersecurity firm NSO Group for using its infrastructure to distribute spyware to approximately 1,400 mobile devices between April and May. The court’s directive mandates NSO to divulge “all relevant spyware” that targeted WhatsApp or its infrastructure in 2019.
