A bug in WhatsApp for Windows can be exploited to execute malicious code via attachments
The flaw, tracked as CVE-2025-30401, affects all versions of WhatsApp Desktop for Windows prior to 2.2450.6. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability by sending the targeted user a specially crafted file whose MIME type is altered to make it appear as a harmless file (e.g., displaying it as an image).

Microsoft will launch Recall, the feature that captures screenshots on Copilot Plus PCs
Recall captures screenshots of user activity to help them revisit and retrieve past tasks. The feature was originally supposed to launch alongside Copilot Plus PCs in June last year, but the rollout was delayed over security concerns raised by experts.
