NSO Group must pay more than $167 million in damages to Meta for WhatsApp spyware campaign
Meta sued the NSO Group after the Pegasus spyware targeted more than 1,400 WhatsApp users. In 2019 NSO Group exploited a flaw in WhatsApp’s code. Attackers could call someone, and even if the person didn’t answer, Pegasus could still install itself on the device.

OpenAI announced what it’s calling the first “connector” for ChatGPT deep research, the company’s tool that searches across the web and other sources to compile reports on a topic. Users can grant the AI assistant access to select code repositories and ask questions about their contents.
