Google unveiled new Gemini AI features including Gemini Live and more

According to the company, Gemini Live will offer “a mobile conversational experience that lets you have free-flowing conversations with Gemini”. Users can interrupt Gemini Live mid-response to dive deeper on a point or pause a conversation and come back to it later. In addition to Gemini Live, Google announced other features like “Call Notes”, which will have the ability to record and transcribe calls.

WhatsApp will add a new voice chat mode for Meta AI

The new update, which is already available in WhatsApp beta for Android, enables users to select from ten different voices for the AI. There is no specific date mentioned about when this capability will be made generally available.

Researchers discovered two security vulnerabilities in Microsoft Azure Health Bot Service

Microsoft’s Azure Health Bot service allows healthcare organizations to create and deploy AI-powered conversational bots. One of the discovered flaws is a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability that allowed access to cross-tenant resources within the service, potentially enabling lateral movement to other resources.

OpenAI integrated the new GPT-4o model in ChatGPT

According to OpenAI’s official documentation page, chatgpt-4o-latest will be a dynamic model that will be continuously updated to the current version of GPT-4o in ChatGPT. While the company still recommends developers use gpt-4o-2024-08-06 for most API usage, the chatgpt-4o-latest model will allow the testing of OpenAI’s latest improvements.
