Vertex AI is Google Cloud’s AI development platform. The new Veo model has the capability to generate 1080p resolution videos in a wide range of cinematic and visual styles, from text prompts or images.

Meta intends to use nuclear power for its data centers

Apple faces a class action lawsuit from UK developers over App Store commission
The UK’s Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) gave the green light for a nearly $1 billion class action lawsuit to proceed. The lawsuit, filled by 1,566 app developers and later extended to nearly 13,000, accuses the company of abusing its monopolistic power to enforce a 30% commission on App Store purchases.
