OpenAI, Oracle and SoftBank will invest $500 billion in AI infrastructure

The new partnership, called The Stargate Project, aims to construct essential data centers and computing infrastructure needed to power artificial intelligence development. SoftBank will have financial responsibility, and OpenAI will have operational responsibility in the project.

Facebook, X, YouTube and others signed a pledge to combat hate speech in the EU

The Digital Services Act now requires tech companies to do more to combat illegal and harmful content on their platforms. Companies have committed to allowing not-for-profit or public organisations with expertise in illegal hate to oversee their handling of hate speech notices. Additionally, the companies will implement measures, including the use of automated detection tools, to minimise hate speech.

WhatsApp will soon allow users to automatically post a Status as an Instagram or Facebook Story

Meta announced that users will soon be able to add their WhatsApp account to their Accounts Center, a hub where users can manage Facebook, Instagram, and Meta Quest accounts. With this integration, users will be able to cross-post their WhatsApp Status as Stories on Instagram and Facebook.
