Microsoft confirmed that a Russian hacker group accessed its internal systems
The group, which operates under the names Nobelium and Midnight Blizzard, initially accessed Microsoft’s systems last year through an attack where they utilized a large dictionary of potential passwords against accounts. Microsoft said the hacker group used info gained from its previous attack to try to access some of its systems. The group obtained some secrets from emails between Microsoft and some of its customers.
