NSO Group must pay more than $167 million in damages to Meta for WhatsApp spyware campaign
Meta sued the NSO Group after the Pegasus spyware targeted more than 1,400 WhatsApp users. In 2019 NSO Group exploited a flaw in WhatsApp’s code. Attackers could call someone, and even if the person didn’t answer, Pegasus could still install itself on the device.

Lightricks launched its most powerful AI video generation model to date
The start-up announced LTX Video-13B model with 13 billion parameters and breakthrough compression, aiming to compete with companies such as OpenAI, Google and Alibaba.
